Blaise is a lighthearted romantic comedy infused with subtle French humor. Written by French playwright Claude Magnier in 1959, the play offers charm and wit in equal measure. In October 2018, Scarlet Sails Theater brought this play to the U.S. stage for the first time, presenting it in Russian in Portland. The production was a resounding success, with tickets sold out for all four performances.
