About Classes
LEGO® Education is a course where a child becomes an engineer, researcher, storyteller, and inventor. We use the official LEGO SPIKE™ Essential program, which gives children not just knowledge but experience: how the world works, how mechanisms function, and how to design, program, and create real projects.
Schedule & Tuition
📅 September 6, 2025 – May 30, 2026 🕒 Saturdays, 9:00 – 9:45 AM 📍 First United Methodist Church of Beaverton, 12555 SW 4th St, Beaverton, OR 97005 💵 $105/month
How Classes Work
The program consists of 10 large modules, each opening a new topic — from light and sound to energy transfer, animal behavior, and even principles of movement in the city.
Classes are hands-on: children build a working mechanism, program it, observe the results, and draw conclusions. Every lesson includes practical work, discussion, explanation, corrections, and improvements. The focus is not on memorization, but on thinking, logic, and tangible results.
