About Classes

Theater is more than the stage. It’s work with the body, speech, focus, and self-awareness. Here, children grow more confident, expressive, courageous, and responsible — qualities that are especially important at ages 8–9.

How Classes Work

Classes include work on speech, breathing, diction, attention, movement, and partner interaction. We read, discuss, improvise, and rehearse scenes. This year’s productions include Pippi Longstocking and Thumbelina.

Children not only memorize text but also understand what the character is doing and why. This develops logic, analysis, memory, and — most importantly — the child’s own presence on stage and in the group.

What You’ll Learn

- Emotional expressiveness, strong speech, and confidence
- Public speaking and stage presence skills
- Memory, discipline, and self-organization
- Understanding character motivation and logic of actions
- Enjoyment of collaborative results and recognition

Who This Class Is For

For ages 8–9, for children ready to focus or open up, who enjoy the stage or want to learn to speak, move, and express themselves with confidence.
