This time, audiences meet Semyon the Bunny, who lives in an enchanted fairy-tale forest. Semyon is timid, but dreams of becoming brave and fearless. For New Year's, he asks Ded Moroz to make him the strongest of all.

The wizard grants his wish—but the modest little bunny turns into Semyon the First, the Terrible! The forest is thrown into complete chaos. Even its fiercest inhabitants—the Wolf, the Mother Bear, the Wild Boar, and the Owl—are frightened by his transformation.

But, as every fairy tale should—and especially a New Year's fairy tale—everything ends happily. There will be a real celebration: mischievous, joyful, and filled with songs and dancing!

The play was written by Andrey Gorbunov (Moscow), with music by Vladimir Karavashkin (Moscow).
